Behind the birdie...
Heidi has taken a brief hiatus from the blog, and currently Caleb is the voice of Black Mountain Birdie. I hope this blog continues to provide some helpful info for this wonderful town we live in and the surrounding Asheville area! I welcome your feedback along the way.

Well...I am a mother of two amazing kids that make me laugh and keep me on my toes every day. I am a wife to my best friend, my touch-stone. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, friend to many amazing people that God has placed in my life. And for the past 12 years now I have been living, working, and learning all about this great little town that I now (for the first time in my life) call home...Black Mountain, North Carolina. Taken with my findings here, I decided to do a blog for all those who love Black Mountain, those who call it home...and those who wish they did....and all those people out there who believe, as I do, that the most fulfilling aspect of traveling is not usually your destination but the unexpected treasures you find along the way...I believe Black Mountain is just this sort of unexpected treasure!
