So quickly fall has turned in to what feels like winter! However, the beauty of November is that the sun still warms the days enough to enjoy the lingering crunch of fall leaves and by noon usually jackets come off and a perfect afternoon can be spent outdoors. With winter around the corner, meaning more days spent indoors, it is crucial for us all to be outside while we still can. May I suggest a great little hike that, though I have mentioned before, always seems to fit the bill...Lookout Trail in Montreat. It is quick, strenuous enough to get a little workout and a sweat, and has a rewarding view from the top!
