Getting Back in the Saddle!

Hey ya'll!  I am back...don't really know where I have been, but I am getting back in the saddle!  Right now I am finishing up my next post on a great new restaurant...actually I think one of my new favorites...any guesses? 
                         

A few upcoming events to note...
  • The Sourwood Festival is coming up...Aug. 14-16 including the famous Sourwood 5K Sat. morning and the Sourwood Idol Contest on Friday night...more on this to come!
  • This Thursday's Park Rhythm's is Kellin Watson (Singer/songwriter) from Black Mtn...she is fantastic and you won't want to miss this one! The Welcome Table is serving up the food!
  • Wednesday as part of Summer Reading Programs the Black Mountain Library will present “Splash into the Ojibwe - Dreamcatching the Wave” at 11am
  • On Thursday at the Swannanoa Library is “Water Tales and Splishy, Splashy Songs” at 11am
  • Friday evening Studio 103 Fine Art Gallery presents Black Mountain based photographer Rebecca D’Angelo. An artist reception will be held on Friday, July 30, from 5 – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 31 at 1 p.m., the Lake Tomahawk Criterium will feature seven races around Lake Tomahawk - Beginning with junior races and ending with men's professional.
The Summer sun will soon be fading into the vibrant colors of Fall so let's make the most of these last couple weeks!!!
